Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to achieve a score of 10 in a competition at the Olympics. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi, later to be the Romanian gymnastics coach when she was just six years old. The year 1969 was the first time she competed in the Romanian Junior Championships and placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. In her 1972 first international competition in an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition for countries in the Communist bloc, she won 3 gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975 she was named the all-around Junior Champion. In her debut as a senior in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva, the five-time European champ winning four golds and a silver. She was the winner of the American Cup in New York City in 1976 and became the first woman in history to complete the backward double salto in a dismount from the uneven bars parallel to each other. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager Carol Wayne started working in the entertainment business performing as a figure skater. With her sister Nina Wayne she was part of the traveling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol was a part of the entertainment business in her teens. Her career began with her joining Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling spectacle of entertainment. Ice Capades featured performances of ice-skating by actors.
